SPACE INVASION...DREAD AT THE CONTROLS!!!

Lest yall think it's all far-flung shows and foreign flows for BLK JKS these days, we're excited to announce what looks to be a special, progressive engagement.

From 1-4 October your heroes BLK JKS will participate in the Pan African Space Station, a Cape Town creative collaboration that will beam forward ever/backwards never African peoples music to the surrounding metropolis in a commercial-free stream of sound...to wit, "PASS radio will broadcast from studios in the city centre and live from the city's public spaces: malls, gardens, community centres, and clubs before and throughout the music festival."

BLK JKS will be representing South Africa Azania along with Carlo Mombelli and the Prisoners of Strange, Rock Art and others, while Nacao Zumbi (Brasil), Ayetoro (Nigeria), the Cindy Blackman Quartet and the Ze Maria Quartet (Angola/Mozambique) rep for the diaspora.
