THIS IS BRANDON

BLK JKS has been working with sonic mad scientist Brandon Curtis to record some songs at Electric Lady studios...just cuz he's that dude, wears black, snakeskin boots, long hair, has a silver tooth in his mouth since middle school probably,totally cool in the studio, puts mad time and attention in etc etc and most of all NO EGO which is weird and hard to find these days. BC has that old school classic producers touch that gives shape and input without running all over what makes a band special and unique. He's just been into BLK JKS for a few months and casually offered to record the guys when they came to NYC.

We finished recording today and the rough mixes are already sounding INSANE.

Oh, Brandon has a day job with his major official band The Secret Machines. Hopefully that won't cause problems when we get him out to South Africa for more work.
